Digital download

In this collection you will receive the indicated number of JPG files, each with the FRONT SIDE and the BACK SIDE of beautiful vintage (French, Belgian or Dutch) Post Cards from between 1900-1930 more or less.

The postcards are a selection of a collection of more than 400 authentic postcards, some of them unused and some of them with astonishing, romantic or humoristic or simply functional handwritten messages in different languages.

Technical

• All designs are in high resolution 600dpi. Normally it's only 300 dpi 😉. So for example if there are 8 postcards in the purchase, you will receive 16 digital, individually handscanned files.
• The fronts of the postcards are typically about 1,3 to 1,7 MB, the backs about 0,3 to 1MB, depending on the amout of colours in the image.
• They will be packed in 1 or more ZIP files that you will have to unpack. Most computers, phones or other devices have built in software to unpack ZIP files but if you need help, please contact me.
• The original size of the postcards is about 14cm (5.5") high by 9cm (3.5") wide and were scanned at 600 dpi, i.e. high resolution for digital prints at original size.
• They were all cropped manually with a bit of margin so the typical beautiful border of the postcards is prominently visible.
• In order to have an idea of the quality before buying, I show these pictures in the description above:
• a couple of the original scans of the fronts, watermarked with my logo.
• 1 or 2 of the original scans of the backsides, watermarked with my logo.
• (a) low resolution collage(s) of all the fronts and backs of the postcards that are in this purchase.
• Obviously, the purchased files will have the annoying (sorry😁) watermark removed.

Policies for use

Policies for use of my digital products are as follows:

• You MAY use these downloads to print for your own use and for physical creations such as junk journals, art journals, card making, collages, scrapbooks, ephemera and other paper or even fabric creations as a gift or to sell. To clarify, it is fine to use these images for handmade physical creations to sell in another similar online or boutique venue as long as it does not constitute large scale production (less than 10 items per digital file).
• You MAY NOT use these downloadable products in digital art work of your own or to sell or give away in its digital form.
